Laverne and the Elephant

Laverne always wanted to ride on an elephant. It was her life long dream. Two weeks before she went to the hospital for bunion surgery, her best friend Gladdis decided she would make this dream come true. Gladdis had been saving her pennies for a long time. She had a lot of pennies, but she still couldn't afford an elephant. Luckily she had enough cash for a horse. Laverne was old and couldn't see very well, most likely she wouldn't know the difference. Come to find out later that she purchased a donkey and not a horse which is a bummer because they don't hold their value as well.
